The social media giant is launching a competition at the NeurlPS 2021 AI conference in Sydney, Australia. Facebook stated that NetHack, an 80s video game with simple visuals considered among the most difficult games in the world, can enable data scientists to benchmark state-of-the-art AI methods in a complex environment without the need to run experiments on a computer. Facebook Wants to Beat NetHack Games have served as a benchmark for artificial intelligence for years, but things started to escalate in 2013, the year that Google s DeepMind showed a system that could play Breakout, Pong, Seaquest, Space Invaders, Enduro, Beamrider, and Q bert at superhuman levels.

London Man Arrested On Drug Charges Following Suspicious Person Complaint

London, KY, USA / SAM 103.9 FM WWEL | Today s Pop Hits Jun 9, 2021 | 12:08 PM Laurel County Sheriff John Root says K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler and Deputy Marcus Stigall were called out to a business parking lot off Rocky Branch Road, about 4 miles South of London, on suspicious person complaint. Deputies arrived to find 35-year-old Jimmy Jones of London and determined he was under the influence. During the investigation Jones began creating a disturbance, cursing and refusing to follow commands. After a brief scuffle Jones was taken into custody. He also threatened deputies during his arrest. Jones was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on drug charges. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
